Created a concept for Koktem restaurant group’s digital ecosystem

We carried out pre-project research for a mobile product that combines delivery, reservations, loyalty program and key guest interaction scenarios in one system.

Project stages

01

Form a concept for a single application to manage a restaurant chain

At the time of the request, Koktem already had a large network of venues, several brands and a large base of regular guests. But as the business grew, it became clear that further scaling without a single digital system would be difficult.

Different processes were distributed across several tools, and guest interaction remained fragmented: reservations separately, delivery separately, loyalty mechanics separately.

It was necessary to think in advance about what a single digital ecosystem for the chain should look like, convenient both for guests and for the internal team.

02

Worked through the architecture, user scenarios and UX/UI concept

As part of the project, we carried out pre-project and product elaboration of the future application: — formed the product’s technical strategy — designed the overall concept of the digital ecosystem — described key user scenarios — designed the application structure — worked through delivery, reservation and bonus program logic — laid the approach for iiko integration — developed the UX/UI concept and design layouts — provided an administrative part for managing menu, orders, promotions and content

We paid special attention to making the product designed from the start as a single system for the whole chain, not as a set of disconnected functions.

03

Unite all interaction scenarios in one application

The core idea was one application that becomes the entry point into the entire Koktem ecosystem.

The concept included: — guest personal account — delivery and order placement — table reservations — bonus system and QR mechanics — push notifications and guest return scenarios — multilingual interface — admin panel for the internal team

04

Laid the foundation for further growth and scaling

As a result, Koktem received not just an application idea, but a complete concept for a future digital product: with clear logic, technical direction, user scenarios and a visual system. This work became the foundation for further development and scaling of digital services inside the restaurant group.

When we joined the project, it was important not just to “make an application,” but to understand what a product that can withstand the scale of the network should look like.

Koktem already had a strong business, a clear guest flow and working processes. But everything was fragmented: different tools, different scenarios and no single logic for client interaction. Our task was to assemble this into a system. We started with research: reviewed current processes, guest behavior and touchpoints. Then we built the product logic: how the user enters, how they interact with the chain and where key actions happen, such as orders, reservations and bonuses.
